Greater Groves is just 9 miles from Disney main gate and other great attractions located in the Orlando Area. This resort community is located off Highway 27 North, about 2 miles north of Highway 192 West. It is easy to find and to access with no difficult turns. It is perfectly situated not only for the Disney Parks but also for all the shopping malls, restaurants, cinemas, golf and other local attractions as well as only 60 minutes to the east coast beaches! It is a quiet and friendly neighbourhood with a large community swimming pool, tennis courts and a children's play area. Atlantic and Gulf coast Beaches are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Want to try something different? How about a trip to the Lake Ridge Winery? They have wine tasting, a shop and sometimes craft and music events. It is located north on the US 27 about 20 minutes away. Lake Louisa State Park is only 10 minutes north of Greater Groves. If you don't want to go the beach, they have one on the lakeside with picnic tables, nature trails and wildlife! Or visit Clermont itself, north on US 27, then left on US 50 and follow the signs for 'historic downtown'. It's a pretty town with old style shops, a lake with walks, and look out for special events, especially on the first Friday of the month or at holiday times. Depending upon the season, you can 'Pick your own Citrus' or ride on a swamp buggy at one of the citrus groves just north of Greater Groves on the US 27.
