Indian Creek is located just 1 mile off Highway 192 at the Splendid
China Junction (Formosa Gardens), right opposite Rolling Hills. This
is a lakeside community and for your enjoyment it has a recreation
area with tennis court, putting green, children's playgrounds, football
pitch and a multi-purpose court. Also for those energetic souls there
is a jogging circuit around one of the storm lakes.
Situated only 4 miles from Disney World, Indian Creek is well positioned
for Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM and all Disney Theme Parks - very close
to a great short cut into the Disney area cutting out huge amounts
of traffic, avoiding all queues which can occur at peak holiday times
along the 192. Directions are as follows: Turn left out of Indian
Creek, at the 4 way stop turn right this is a dirt track road. Follow
this road until you reach the first junction, give way or yield to
through traffic. Turn left here, at the traffic lights continue straight
across, follow this winding road for a few minutes until you reach
traffic lights. Turn right, Disney's Animal Kingdom is now on your
left. Continue on for all other Disney parks now following Disney
traffic signs. Indian Creek is so close that you can enjoy the parks
in the morning, come back to the villa for a relaxing swim in the
pool and then head back to the parks. Stay for the fire works then
take the short cut home, miss the traffic.
The Formosa Gardens Shopping Plaza is about 1 mile away, and has a
Winn-Dixie open 6-11, a drugstore (chemist), walk-in medical centre,
plus a wide selection of restaurants: Outback, TGI Fridays, Carrabbas,
Giordanos, Red Lobster and a Dairy Queen Ice Cream Parlour. Plus within
minutes there are a McDonalds, Golden Corral, Ponderosa, IHOP and
Perkins just to name a few plus lots of gift shops. Ideally placed
for hopping onto the I-4 for Universal and Seaworld, Busch Gardens
and both superb coast lines Florida has to offer.
Golf Courses are abundant in the area; on offer are many World Class
golf courses. Close to Disney, their superb 6 courses are all within
a short drive away! Within 1 mile is the new Legends and Mystic Dunes
and Country Club Resort. Other excellent courses include Champions
Gate and Highlands Reserve, Falcon's Fire and Marriot World. |
