Every
community has its own characteristics. Some are more mature, longer
established, while others are more recently built, and in some cases
still being developed. Some have resort-style facilities, others are
quieter and more residential-based.
Almost all Orlando vacation rentals are in the three counties around
and to the south of Walt Disney World - Osceola County, Lake County
and Polk County.
The terms community and subdivision are effectively the same. A subdivision
is an allocation of land on which a community is built. Some subdivisions
are approved for short-term rental homes, while others are not. All
the communities listed on this site include properties that are are
approved and licensed as Orlando rental homes.
